Heroic James was only 13 when he helped catch the notorious "Night Stalker"
When James Romero was only 13 he did an incredibly heroic deed - he ran out and faced a serial killer - Richard Ramirez known as "The Night Stalker" who terrorized southern CA residents for 14 months in 1984-85 committing many murders, rapes and home invasions. The details of the license plate that young James noted led to the eventual capture, arrest and sentencing of the brutal serial killer.
His family and community hailed James as a hero.
Since 2020 James has been in the mortgage lending field (from 2018-2020 was a commercial lender for business loans). Having access to private money, hard money, commercial lending and investment lending has led to his growth in real estate investing with HEROIC REI.
